I'm Alex, and you're listening to the Mindful with Media podcast.

2

:

The episode that I had planned to

release this week was all about.

3

:

The power of getting clear

about what you want and how

4

:

to get clear on what you want.

5

:

But last Friday.

6

:

December 20th.

7

:

I finished our goal to spend a

thousand hours outside this year.

8

:

And so I was journaling about

that experience of spending a

9

:

thousand hours outside this year.

10

:

And.

11

:

Just reflecting on the year as a whole.

12

:

And I realized that I should

do a podcast episode just.

13

:

At least touching on a few things.

14

:

There's no way that you can grasp a.

15

:

Year of life in a short podcast

episode, especially because.

16

:

I'm just going to use my

kids quiet time today.

17

:

And.

18

:

That will end in about 20 minutes.

19

:

So we'll see what I can share before.

20

:

They finished their quiet time.

21

:

But I wanted to just kind of

go through and share some of my

22

:

favorite things from this year.

23

:

And I thought it would

be fun to do by category.

24

:

And again, we'll see how many categories

we get to, but the first category that I

25

:

wanted to touch on was outside adventure.

26

:

So some of my favorite.

27

:

Outside adventures from the year.

28

:

And.

29

:

These are not in.

30

:

Any particular order or

even chronological order.

31

:

So.

32

:

The first.

33

:

Memory that came to mind.

34

:

Was the day after Halloween.

35

:

My friend who also has

been doing this challenge.

36

:

Invited us to go to some hot Springs

that are relatively close by and

37

:

you walk on a trail for a little

ways to get to the hot Springs.

38

:

And I said yes, because that's

what we like to do in the

39

:

mornings is going into ventures.

40

:

But I did not anticipate how.

41

:

Just like.

42

:

Blah.

43

:

I would be feeling the

day after Halloween.

44

:

And my kids were, you know, we went to

bed late and they'd basically just eaten

45

:

candy for the last, the week previous.

46

:

And.

47

:

I was exhausted and they

must have not slept well.

48

:

And it was just, I was not feeling great.

49

:

So.

50

:

I like.

51

:

And like for Hotsprings,

especially, this was November 1st.

52

:

It's not like you can just

jump in the car, like.

53

:

We needed to pack.

54

:

Towels and swimsuits and.

55

:

A backpack to carry all the things

on the trail and snacks and.

56

:

A tinge of clothes and like, how

is that going to work for me?

57

:

And so there was a lot to

think about for this activity.

58

:

And so I almost texted my friend

and was just like, we're not

59

:

feeling it this morning, but.

60

:

My kids were like fussy

and struggling at home.

61

:

And so I was like, I don't really

want to just be here with them either.

62

:

We might as well just go.

63

:

And this is probably my favorite

adventure from the year.

64

:

It was so magical.

65

:

There were only like a few other

people there at the hot Springs

66

:

and the trail itself to walk to the

hot Springs was flat and beautiful.

67

:

And.

68

:

Still some fall leaves on the ground and.

69

:

It was so fun for myself

and for my kids too.

70

:

You know, have the.

71

:

Cold air, but then be in the

warm, natural hot Springs.

72

:

my three-year-old especially loved

it and thought it was really cool.

73

:

And so it's just interesting how.

74

:

I'm not into.

75

:

Forcing myself to do things

that I don't want to do.

76

:

Like very much.

77

:

Like to lean into what

I actually want to do.

78

:

And not, yeah, just not forcing myself

to do things, but it is interesting how.

79

:

There's usually a version of me that

knows what I want to do deep down.

80

:

Sometimes that's getting up earlier or

sometimes that's going to bed earlier

81

:

or sometimes that's working out or

sometimes that's eating a certain way.

82

:

Right.

83

:

Where maybe in the moment, I don't really

want to do it, but like deep down, I

84

:

really know that I do want to do it.

85

:

And I think that's how often I feel

with going outside, especially in.

86

:

Less than ideal weather or something

that takes a little bit more effort that

87

:

initially I don't really want to, but.

88

:

Ultimately, it feels so good.

89

:

So that was one of my favorite memories.

90

:

Another wonderful, happy

outside memory from this year.

91

:

Isn't one memory in particular, but.

92

:

We have like, A decent size backyard.

93

:

That's just flat with grass.

94

:

And that was one of . The things we

really liked when we bought this house.

95

:

But my kids are so funny because

they don't like to play back there.

96

:

Because what if someone else is outside

in the front yard and there's friends

97

:

to play with, but we can't see them

because they're in the front yard.

98

:

So we actually spend most of our time

at home, not in our big backyard, but

99

:

in our front yard, because that's.

100

:

Where the friends are.

101

:

And it's actually been so fun.

102

:

I would say that's where we

clocked like a huge chunk of

103

:

our hours was just, just like.

104

:

The nostalgic.

105

:

Memory's in the front yard.

106

:

So I would set up my red camp chair.

107

:

And.

108

:

My kids would ride bikes and

scooters and draw with chalk.

109

:

And we even did, sometimes we do like.

110

:

We'd get boxes and.

111

:

Pretend to deliver mail to each other in

the boxes and you know, like right on.

112

:

Color pictures and deliver those.

113

:

And.

114

:

Honestly, just a lot of writing around.

115

:

Oh, it's like playing.

116

:

Bus stop.

117

:

Like.

118

:

Excuse me.

119

:

Like someone.

120

:

Is the best driver and they ride

their bike and then you wait at the

121

:

bus stop and then you follow behind

them on your bike or whatever.

122

:

And sometimes I'd play with my kids.

123

:

Oh.

124

:

And also like the flower

beds in my front yard.

125

:

I, there are some.

126

:

What's that called perennials.

127

:

Is that the climate come up every year.

128

:

Or animals, probably animals, right.

129

:

That come up every year.

130

:

There are some of those that

come up that I didn't play it.

131

:

Like the previous owners planted.

132

:

But.

133

:

I just have decided to let

my front flower bed be.

134

:

Basically a sandbox for my kids.

135

:

And so

136

:

we went to DEI and got a bunch of like,

137

:

Old kitchen utensils.

138

:

And they just played for

hours and hours and hours.

139

:

And the dirt and that has been really fun

and one of our neighbors, they have three

140

:

kids that are similar ages to my kids.

141

:

And then the other side.

142

:

They have five girls.

143

:

The youngest is.

144

:

Nine.

145

:

The oldest is 19.

146

:

And so often the.

147

:

Three youngest girls.

148

:

One or all of them would come

out and play with my kids too.

149

:

So.

150

:

That was really nice to be able to

just sit and do nothing and watch.

151

:

My kids play and just enjoy.

152

:

Enjoy life, just the

simple things of life.

153

:

So those are some of my

favorite memories and just.

154

:

Connecting with our neighbors

on a deeper level this year.

155

:

Another favorite outside adventure.

156

:

I was spending time in the mountains.

157

:

So.

158

:

As many of, you know, I've said this

a lot of times on here, I'm pretty.

159

:

Transparent about everything that's gone

on this year, but in March of this year,

160

:

Matt had a grand mal seizure and then.

161

:

Let's say it was about six months

where he was not able to do much.

162

:

Besides just work and eat and sleep.

163

:

And so Sundays were especially

long and hard because.

164

:

You know, most people are

spending time with their family.

165

:

Oh.

166

:

And my parents also moved

out of state this year.

167

:

And so.

168

:

I just didn't have.

169

:

People to hang out with on Sundays.

170

:

Well, I will say my brother

and sister-in-law were so nice.

171

:

They live about an hour north of here.

172

:

And often they would invite

me to Kota my sister-in-law's

173

:

extended family get together.

174

:

So that was, we were very,

very grateful for that.

175

:

But.

176

:

Sundays with my kids.

177

:

We were just struggling because

we go to church on Sunday and.

178

:

We.

179

:

I believe in keeping the Sabbath day.

180

:

Holy and I've been trying to figure out.

181

:

What that looks like in my current stage,

and especially with young kids without.

182

:

Matt being able to help.

183

:

And so we started going to

the mountains on Sundays and.

184

:

Those are some of my.

185

:

Very cherished memories.

186

:

Of just feeling close to God in a new way.

187

:

Peace.

188

:

And.

189

:

Made happy memories with my kids

in the mountains on Sundays.

190

:

Whether that was hiking or.

191

:

Throwing rocks and streams.

192

:

And.

193

:

Often a mix of all the things

you do in the mountains.

194

:

Some of my other favorite

mountain adventures.

195

:

I did a lot of hiking.

196

:

This year.

197

:

And I feel like my kids were at,

in some ways in better ages where

198

:

they both can hike on their own.

199

:

But also.

200

:

Still pretty young.

201

:

And so.

202

:

When we went with other people, it

was sometimes hard to keep up, but.

203

:

So many happy adventures.

204

:

Hiking with friends, sometimes

just my kids and myself.

205

:

But I love.

206

:

Memory's hiking.

207

:

And then this fall.

208

:

So by three-year-old started

preschool this fall, he had it.

209

:

Twice a week.

210

:

At 1230.

211

:

And so usually once a week, Usually on

Thursdays, we'd go up to the mountains.

212

:

We got like a pass for

the canyon by our house.

213

:

And we'd go with a friend and her kids.

214

:

And.

215

:

Like one day we just set up, , it

was kind of like camping, but

216

:

without the actual sleeping part.

217

:

So we set up our hammocks

and brought books.

218

:

And.

219

:

Just set up a little campsite.

220

:

For several hours and explored,

you know, all the fun, parts of

221

:

camping where you just stirred.

222

:

Exploring and hanging out and.

223

:

Chatting.

224

:

And those are some really fun memories

being in the mountains in the fall

225

:

when the leaves were changing colors

and some really beautiful hikes.

226

:

Some of my other favorite outside

adventures from this year.

227

:

So I've always loved skiing.

228

:

I grew up skiing and.

229

:

I kind of had come to a point

where I just accepted that.

230

:

Skiing's probably not

the best family sport.

231

:

It's.

232

:

Expensive and Matt snowboards,

but he doesn't love it.

233

:

And it's not always the

best with his seizures.

234

:

And so I just had kind of accepted

before I got married that.

235

:

my skiing.

236

:

era.

237

:

was over.

238

:

And I've skied here and there since then.

239

:

But.

240

:

In March.

241

:

When my son turned three.

242

:

Math side of the family was going skiing.

243

:

Altogether.

244

:

And so I took Beckam and.

245

:

It was.

246

:

Everything I could've hoped and dreamed

for, well, actually the first time

247

:

down did not go well and he was done.

248

:

And so then he went into the

lodge and he was with like cousins

249

:

and aunts and uncles and stuff.

250

:

And I went up.

251

:

To do some bigger stuff.

252

:

And then when he came back,

253

:

He was skiing on the bunny hill.

254

:

And just cruising and like, he like

didn't want people to catch him.

255

:

He just wanted to keep going down.

256

:

And it was so fun and it gave

me so much hope in here now.

257

:

Here's my new dream.

258

:

One it's like my mindset around money

has changed so much that I'm like,

259

:

I don't have to think

of that as expensive if.

260

:

I love the idea of having

something to do in the winter.

261

:

That I love.

262

:

And hopefully my kids love.

263

:

And even if they don't

love it, We can bring up.

264

:

Fun food and even games.

265

:

So like people can hang out in the lodge.

266

:

And ski a couple of times, so they

want to, but also don't have to.

267

:

But the people who really

love the skiing can go a ton.

268

:

Anyways, I'm very excited about the

idea of teaching my kids to ski and.

269

:

Becoming a skiing family.

270

:

I'll just mention two more

outside of ventures that were

271

:

especially fun this year.

272

:

There's a reservoir.

273

:

Called black Ridge reservoir.

274

:

And my favorite time to go is

when it's really warm outside.

275

:

But while school is still

in, so nobody's there.

276

:

We went in March of this

year with a few friends.

277

:

And it was just the most pleasant day.

278

:

The kids display in the sand and.

279

:

You know, kind of dip their toes

in the water, play in the water

280

:

a little bit, but not a ton.

281

:

And.

282

:

The moms just sit and chat and

build sandcastles with the kids.

283

:

And it's so fun.

284

:

And again, we had a similar experience.

285

:

In October when we went up to Tibble.

286

:

fork and again, hardly anyone else

there, but it's still super warm day.

287

:

I think it was October.

288

:

Maybe it was September.

289

:

I think it was October.

290

:

I don't know.

291

:

And just.

292

:

Just enjoying.

293

:

Being outside when it's not crowded.

294

:

And my kids are happy.

295

:

And having fun and I'm having

fun that that's it for me.

296

:

Okay.

297

:

Those were the . Outside adventures that

stood out to me most from this year.

298

:

Next, I thought I would do books.

299

:

Here's the thing about

books I've probably read.

300

:

I should look on the good reads.

301

:

I'm going to check real quick.

302

:

Okay.

303

:

According to my good reads,

I've read 45 books this year.

304

:

Plus.

305

:

I've read a few physical

books that I haven't put in.

306

:

Good rates.

307

:

And if you audio books that I

also want put in good rates.

308

:

So.

309

:

however many that is 50.

310

:

Ish plus.

311

:

I don't know, five or 10.

312

:

But most of the books that I read are.

313

:

The same genre, just like clean.

314

:

Romance books.

315

:

So like, Things by.

316

:

Courtney Kiesel Courtney Walsh.

317

:

Katherine Ray, she's one

of my favorite authors.

318

:

Julie Klassen.

319

:

, Sarah M Eden.

320

:

Jennifer Griffith.

321

:

Those are just like some of the

authors that I read this year.

322

:

And.

323

:

So I feel like I can't ever

distinguish in my mind.

324

:

The difference between any of

those, they're all just kind of the

325

:

same, but I obviously really enjoy

them because I keep reading them.

326

:

So, well, I enjoyed all of those.

327

:

None of them stand out as

like some of my favorites.

328

:

But the ones that do stand out

as some of my favorites, I think

329

:

because they're a little different.

330

:

Are.

331

:

The unselected journals of

Emma M lion by Beth Brower.

332

:

And I had heard about these.

333

:

For a while.

334

:

I started the first one and was.

335

:

Underwhelmed.

336

:

I just kind of kept waiting.

337

:

I was like, what's happening.

338

:

But once I realized, I think there's

going to be like, 20 books or something.

339

:

I don't remember, but a lot of

books and there's eight so far,

340

:

I've read all eight of them.

341

:

Once I realized it's

just like a very long.

342

:

Book broken up into little sections.

343

:

That was easier for me to.

344

:

Like understand.

345

:

But yeah, those are the only

books that I wrote down as far

346

:

as my favorite books this year.

347

:

But.

348

:

I've.

349

:

Read more non-fiction this year

than usual, I'm notorious for

350

:

starting nonfiction books and

then never finishing them, which.

351

:

Actually is still true in a

lot of ways, but I've read.

352

:

How to keep house while

drowning this year.

353

:

Commanding your morning by Cindy trim.

354

:

I've read a lot of good inside by Dr.

355

:

Becky, but I haven't finished that one.

356

:

And I'm reading the explosive child.

357

:

And letting go by David Hawkins.

358

:

So.

359

:

Oh, and I'm also reading the

law of divine convent station.

360

:

I love starting non-fiction books.

361

:

Like I said, can be hard

for me to finish them.

362

:

I don't know why I was

talking about, oh yeah.

363

:

Books.

364

:

Favorite things from this year.

365

:

, The next category that

I thought might be fun.

366

:

Is to talk about some

of my favorite podcasts.

367

:

I feel like my favorite type

of podcasts to listen to are.

368

:

Mindset.

369

:

And business and usually where

those overlap, and so the conscious

370

:

coach by Amber Smith has been

my favorite in that category.

371

:

And then I've also been enjoying

Megan teary links podcast.

372

:

Getting mindful with Megan.

373

:

And just her approach to life and

meditation and mindfulness and

374

:

stillness really resonates with

honestly, a lot of the things that.

375

:

Aye.

376

:

Focused on more when I was talking

more about phone use things, but

377

:

just from a different perspective.

378

:

And so it's always fun hearing

things from a different perspective.

379

:

And I also really love how she.

380

:

We'll take.

381

:

What I believe are true principles.

382

:

And she helps me see them from like

the religious spiritual perspective.

383

:

And then also from like, The

gospel of Jesus Christ perspective.

384

:

And so that's something I've really

enjoyed about her podcast this year.

385

:

And then the other podcast

that I will mention is.

386

:

Kindred conversations.

387

:

It's with two young moms.

388

:

Paris tos and Brittany Fry, or

maybe Paris fry and Brittany twos.

389

:

No, I think it was the first one.

390

:

I'm mixing them up, but they, their kids

are just a little bit older than mine.

391

:

So I think both of them have boys , who

just started kindergarten this year.

392

:

And my oldest is three and they both

have three kids and I have two kids.

393

:

So it feels like they're just

ahead of me in parenting.

394

:

And I love the mix of their podcast

where they'll do I think a book

395

:

club every month where they'll read.

396

:

Usually it's a parenting book,

but not always and talk about it.

397

:

And then they have interesting

guests and then they also just have.

398

:

Like podcast episodes

with just the two of them.

399

:

It's a really fun mix of just

lighthearted, but also meaningful.

400

:

So that's been one of my

favorite podcasts from this year.

401

:

Next category.

402

:

Is things in my business.

403

:

That have.

404

:

I have been my favorite things.

405

:

So.

406

:

. If you've been listening to my podcast

for a while, or been in my world for a

407

:

while, you've watched these shifts happen.

408

:

But earlier this year, I.

409

:

Self identified as a life coach.

410

:

And what I did with clients

didn't change at all.

411

:

But I started calling myself a coach.

412

:

Which was a huge identity shift.

413

:

And I had to work through

a lot of things of.

414

:

How I used to view.

415

:

Coaches and coaching and

especially life coaching and just

416

:

understand more of what it even is.

417

:

But I've really loved.

418

:

Diving.

419

:

Full into the coaching world.

420

:

And then not only did I shift

to just be a life coach.

421

:

But I also.

422

:

Shifted to be a business coach.

423

:

And initially I felt very.

424

:

Resistant to this idea of

calling myself a business coach.

425

:

Because I'm not like

most business coaches.

426

:

And.

427

:

I just let that get in

the way for a while.

428

:

But I realize that.

429

:

Is actually what makes me a good

fit for a lot of people is because

430

:

I do business really differently.

431

:

And I've really different

perspectives on things.

432

:

And what.

433

:

What makes a successful business?

434

:

And then the other thing

that I really loved in my

435

:

business this year, , has been.

436

:

A program that I started

called the serenity.

437

:

And this is a hybrid program.

438

:

Where.

439

:

Everyone in the program , we do one.

440

:

Group interactive workshop.

441

:

Once a month.

442

:

And then we have a private audio training

once a month, and then each person gets a

443

:

private one-on-one coaching call with me.

444

:

And.

445

:

Actually, I'm going to

reopen the doors in February.

446

:

So if you want to join the wait list.

447

:

For that the link will be

in the show notes for that.

448

:

But I think I favorite part of this

serenity program has been watching.

449

:

The business owners.

450

:

Connect with each other.

451

:

And cheer each other on and.

452

:

Use . Each of their individual

unique gifts and strengths.

453

:

To help each other and serve each other

has been just really cool to watch.

454

:

And.

455

:

Each of them are doing amazing things.

456

:

So that's been really

fun to work with them on.

457

:

More of that one-on-one level.

458

:

Some of my favorite habits that I.

459

:

Unintentionally developed this year.

460

:

One was running.

461

:

And I wouldn't say this was unintentional.

462

:

I actually really wanted to get

back into running, but I didn't

463

:

want to do it in a way that felt.

464

:

Like.

465

:

The forced, like I wanted to

run because I love running

466

:

if that makes sense.

467

:

Yeah.

468

:

But I have found the most amazing

running friends this year.

469

:

And it's so good for me.

470

:

So I run in the mornings, I

would say, I probably go like.

471

:

Four ish times a week.

472

:

Another habit that.

473

:

Has shockingly happened?

474

:

Is Matt and I have started going

on dates pretty consistently.

475

:

Like.

476

:

I would say every other week, maybe.

477

:

And we tried.

478

:

I can't remember.

479

:

Late summer, maybe.

480

:

To go on a date.

481

:

We like got a babysitter.

482

:

We.

483

:

We're going on a date.

484

:

And maybe even earlier this year, we

were like, try going on dates, but

485

:

Matt would often have seizures and

not that he doesn't anymore, but.

486

:

Anyways, they're less frequent.

487

:

While we're on our dates now.

488

:

So we've kept going on dates.

489

:

But we've just really simple.

490

:

Often like an hour.

491

:

We designed our dream home.

492

:

That was a really fun date.

493

:

We.

494

:

I've started using gift cards

that we got from our wedding.

495

:

We.

496

:

Got ice cream.

497

:

Oh, we went up to Ikea.

498

:

And just looked around and dreamed about.

499

:

I don't know, just like talked about

things that we want in our home.

500

:

We went to RC Willey

and tried out new beds.

501

:

just, it's been really fun and really

good for us and actually shout out to.

502

:

Jamie.

503

:

She was actually on the podcast.

504

:

A couple of months ago.

505

:

And I think it was after that podcast

episode where I was like, you know what,

506

:

I really want to prioritize dates more.

507

:

And so he did, and it's been

really, really good for.

508

:

Us as individuals for us as a couple, for

us as a family, that's been really fun.

509

:

Another habit that we've developed this

year, we do family fun on Saturdays.

510

:

And so again, It's often

fairly simple, but at least.

511

:

One time on Saturday, we do

something fun as a family.

512

:

So sometimes it's just playing

hide and seek sometimes.

513

:

We go get cookies.

514

:

I would say, usually

we don't go somewhere.

515

:

With Matt's health, . Usually

it's just something at home,

516

:

but that's been really fun.

517

:

Family fun.

518

:

Another . Favorite habit I've

unintentionally developed this year.

519

:

Is more journaling and morning pages.

520

:

So when you get up in the morning,

often I'll do it after I run, but

521

:

just writing down all of my thoughts

without a purpose, like not trying to

522

:

record what's happening, not trying to.

523

:

Be creative, like just writing

for the sake of writing.

524

:

And I've had a lot of.

525

:

Answers come that way and also done

some prayer journaling, and there's

526

:

a lot more journaling this year.

527

:

Something else that I've just dabbled

in, that I want to do more of is.

528

:

Meditating.

529

:

And that's all I'm going

to say on that because.

530

:

I've just dabbled, but I

want to do more meditating.

531

:

Uh, Another habit that I've

unintentionally developed is hiring

532

:

babysitters for things other than working.

533

:

So like, The babysitters so that I

can go running or a babysitter so

534

:

I can get ready or a babysitter.

535

:

So I can.

536

:

Study and connect with God, or like

I said, babysitters for date nights.

537

:

I think that's something that I.

538

:

Had a hard time with the past.

539

:

Like I got to a point

where I was okay with.

540

:

Having babysitters.

541

:

So that I could.

542

:

Work.

543

:

But this has been a new

level this year, too.

544

:

Pay babysitters to watch my kids.

545

:

To do other things.

546

:

The last thing I'll mention about

this year, this didn't really

547

:

have a good place to go, but.

548

:

I'm obsessed with my kids.

549

:

And I feel like this year I have

become even more obsessed with them.

550

:

Especially their

relationship with each other.

551

:

So they're 18 months and one

day apart and a boy or girl.

552

:

And they.

553

:

The imaginary play that they

engage in together is so magical.

554

:

I think.

555

:

I anticipated that like, Having

kids, but I had no idea how

556

:

much joy it would bring me.

557

:

To watch my kids play with each

other and make up their own.

558

:

Rules and safe anythings to each other

and work things out with each other.

559

:

And it's been so, so fun.

560

:

That I've just loved hanging

out with my kids this year.

561

:

I thought it'd be fun to share

some of your favorite podcast

562

:

episodes from this year.

563

:

So I looked at the.

564

:

analytics for my episodes this year.

565

:

And I wanted to share the top

five episodes from this year.

566

:

Number one.

567

:

your most favorite episode?

568

:

Was episode 51.

569

:

And this was called five ways to feel

relaxed while working hard, which is so

570

:

funny because I released this awhile ago.

571

:

But I actually feel like that.

572

:

Principal.

573

:

Kind of captures everything.

574

:

I believe About business.

575

:

And what I've really been

leaning into lately is feeling

576

:

relaxed while working hard.

577

:

So that was episode 51.

578

:

The second most popular

episode was episode 50.

579

:

Lessons, I'm learning

from my husband's seizure.

580

:

So that was after Mount seizure in April.

581

:

Or shared, just like the crazy things

that our family was going through.

582

:

Episode.

583

:

46 was the third, most popular.

584

:

And that was actually a guest episode

with Suzanne she has a book called.

585

:

Breaking free of busy.

586

:

And so in that episode, she shares some

really practical tips for busy moms.

587

:

And she's from Australia and

has a lovely Australian accent.

588

:

So that's a fun episode to listen to.

589

:

The fourth, most popular

episode was episode 42.

590

:

Nine tips to be more present.

591

:

Again, something I'm super

passionate about being more present.

592

:

And I actually cannot remember.

593

:

At all what those nine tips were.

594

:

So maybe I should actually

listen to that episode.

595

:

And then the fifth most popular episode.

596

:

Was.

597

:

Another guest episode with Megan Hubbard.

598

:

It was episode 49, the secret

to making stress, your friend.

599

:

So.

600

:

If you haven't already listened to

those episodes, those could be fun

601

:

to go listen to or relisten to if

you've forgotten what they were about.

602

:

It's been fun., Yeah, Just relishing

on , what a beautiful year.

603

:

This was for myself and for my family.

604

:

And.

605

:

I'm just starting to

think about next year.

606

:

Krista Kirkham is doing like a

three-day boxer event about creating

607

:

a vision board, I think for next year.

608

:

Anyways, I'm doing that.

609

:

So I hope that will help me find

more clarity about next year.

610

:

I recently have felt more

drawn to learn about.

611

:

Like sematic.

612

:

Stuff and breathwork and.

613

:

The nervous system, I've just felt

more drawn to learn more about that.

614

:

So that's something I'd like

to learn more about next year.

615

:

So if you have any favorite books

or podcast on that topic, or even.

616

:

Like meditation or things like that.

617

:

I don't know.

618

:

I'm just like, very intrigued

about the body and how it

619

:

connects with mindset work.

620

:

So let me know if you have

any recommendations and then.

621

:

Something I'm really excited to

nail down is my morning routine.

622

:

I'm actually doing.

623

:

Megan.

624

:

Pinckney has a.

625

:

Program.

626

:

She's doing.

627

:

About like, Really nailing

your morning routine.

628

:

And so I'm excited too.

629

:

Figure out what I want that to look like.

630

:

And.

631

:

How I want that to look so.

632

:

That's just kind of a recap of my

20, 24 with a little glimpse into.

633

:

2025.
